The evening of July 8th, in a fantastic celebratory atmosphere at stunning Alto Theatre in Essen, the best designers and manufacturers of the year 2019 were honored for their creative achievements.
Out of more than 5,500 entries, only the best products of the year convinced the jury who selected the competition winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019.
We too had a reason to celebrate: together with Radiometer, we designed the Red Dot winner ABL9, a high quality blood gas analyer for high-growth and mature markets.
Our L.A. based partner Thorben from Ritual was also there: he won a Red Dot Award for their design of the Phyn Plus smart water assistant - Congrats!
After the ceremony, we all met at the Designers’ Night in the Red Dot Design Museum…
... where we received our certificate…
... and celebrated in the midst of the award-winning products: the after-show party is simultaneously the launch of the winners’ exhibition “Design on Stage”.
About the Red Dot Award:
The Red Dot Award: Product Design, whose origins date back to 1955, appraises the best products created every year. In 48 categories, manufacturers and designers can enter their innovations in the competition. According to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, the jury evaluates the entries and only awards a Red Dot to products that win them over with their high design quality.
