The Challenge
The best therapy Is the one people actually do. For Beurer's newest TENS/EMS device , our goal was to remove friction from the experience from the very first touch. By creating a clear hierarchy across the industrial design and user interface, we made the device easy to understand and operate - allowing users to focus on their therapy rather than learning how to use the product.
The Solution
We translated this goal into a holistic industrial design and UX/UI concept that minimizes cognitive load. A clear hierarchy, intuitive controls, and a guided interface make the device easy to understand and effortless to use, helping users engage with therapy confidently from day one.
Designing Confidence in Every Interaction
Hardware and user interface were developed together as one cohesive experience, creating a clear and intuitive interaction flow. A spacious display, intuitive controls, and a structured three-zone layout establish a strong visual hierarchy, while Beurer’s signature design line creates a clear separation between functions. Combined with a guided interface, every interaction feels purposeful and easy to follow - supporting users throughout their therapy journey.

The interface transforms a complex therapy process into a simple, guided experience. Information is revealed progressively throughout each treatment, allowing users to focus on the task at hand without unnecessary distraction. Coordinated LED indicators and on-screen feedback bridge the physical and digital experience, providing clear guidance and confidence with every adjustment.
