We're proud to have won the 2026 IF Design Award in the product category „Automotive“ together with our client Qwello, for the CP21 and CP22, their next generation of urban e-charging stations. Two products, one cohesive design language, and a recognition that means a great deal to everyone involved.

Designed for the city. Built to last.
The CP21 and CP22 are Qwello's second-generation charging stations - and with them came a clear ambition: to go significantly further than the first generation in user experience, brand presence, and real-world durability. Working closely with Qwello's engineering and product teams, we developed the industrial design and physical user experience of a versatile charging station family built for modern city infrastructure across Germany and Europe.
The result is a compact, dual-charge-point product family that holds its ground in diverse urban environments - from busy on-street parking to public squares. The CP21 with its dual-display layout covers high-traffic deployments; the CP22 is optimized for narrower spaces where every centimeter counts.
From the iconic triangular pole and intuitive illuminated touchpoints to the seamless connection between the physical station and the digital app experience, every detail was designed to be clear, durable, compatible and unmistakably present in the urban landscape. Illuminated rings and colored highlights guide users naturally through the charging process - creating an experience that feels immediate and instinctive, whether you're a first-timer or a daily user. And behind the design is an equally considered engineering story: rapid installation, weather protection, vandalism resistance, and straightforward field maintenance.
A result that means something
The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most respected design prizes in the world, judged by an international expert jury across all industries. Winning it alongside a forward-thinking client like Qwello is recognition of what's possible when design ambition, engineering craft, and a shared vision work as one - and a strong signal for the future of EV infrastructure design in European cities.
